Cancellations (Cabins):

No refund if cancelling day of booking arrival

February to November, when cancelling within 3 days, no refund will be given, more than 3 days full refund given.

During December, January & Waitangi, Easter, Labour long weekends;

– when cancelling cabins within 8-10 days of arrival, guests will be refunded 50% of booking cost.

– cancelling within 7 days of arrival no refund will be given.

Cancellations (Campsites, Powered and Non-powered):

No refund if cancelling day of booking arrival

February to November, cancelling within two days before arrival guests will be refunded 50% of booking cost, more than 2 days full refund given.

During December, January & Waitangi, Easter, Labour long weekends;

– Cancelling within 4-10 days of arrival, guests will be refunded 50% of booking cost.

– Cancelling within 3 days no refund will be given.

Holiday Houses Policy:

If cancelling outside of one month before arrival a full refund will be given.

Within one month of arrival no refund will be given.

No show policy:

Any bookings where guests do not arrive, no refund will be given.

Booking Liability:

The persons name on booking will be responsible for the booking.

Alterations:

One alteration per booking is allowed.

During December, January and public holiday weekends we will need 7 days notice on booking alterations.

Dog Policy:

NO DOGS at the camp between 20 December and 20 January, Waitangi & Easter weekends. Then strict guidelines outside these times, definitely no dogs in cabins and houses.

Strict guidelines:

  1. Dogs must be on leash at all times
  2. No dogs near facilities or in cabins
  3. Dog must only be walking around on way to leaving campsite
  4. No barking, especially at other campers
  5. Guests will be asked to leave without refund if any rules are broken

NZMCA Policy:

We offer a 10% discount for NZMCA members all year except from 20th December to 14th January. When booking online a 10% refund will be given on arrival when showing card.

Track services policy:

If track is closed by DOC full refund will be given.

Services can be cancelled free of charge with more than 7 days notice, if not no refund will be given.

Our website uses SSL, does not store credit card details and all payments are handled by a secure, PCI compliant third party.

Punakaiki Beach Camp will never share any private information with other parties.
